Specializing in personalized jewelry crafted in gold, sterling silver, and stainless steel, Tolga’s work is rooted in meaning. Each design is created to celebrate identity, love, and the moments that matter most. Beyond jewelry, Tolga is also a professional photographer, bringing a creative eye to everything from product imagery to fashion shoots.
We caught up with Tolga to talk about creativity, inspiration, and how the energy of Ampersand fuels his work.
Tell us a little about what you do.
I’m a jewelry designer with a specialization in personalized jewelry. We mainly work with gold, sterling silver, and stainless steel
What inspires you to get out of bed?
Creating something new and something people love is what motivates me. I want to touch people’s hearts and remind them who they are and who they love through jewelry.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
I can’t live without coffee and books
Where do your brightest ideas come from?
My brightest ideas come from creative people. I follow the arts. A beautiful painting, a sculpture, or just an abstract installation can magically inspire me.
Where is your favorite place to decompress and unwind?
My favorite place is anywhere outdoors where I can grab a chair, an umbrella, and bring my books.
When do you feel your best and what do you do to stay in the vibration?
I feel my best when a great idea hits me. There’s this rush of excitement that comes with it, and it feels even better when I’m able to bring that idea to life. Some of my best ideas actually come to me when I’m out on a bike ride.
Tell us something we don’t know about you?
I’m a professional photographer who has shot for numerous magazines and A-list fashion brand catalogs. Photography is a true passion of mine, and all of the images featured on our website were captured by me.
What made you decide to join Ampersand?
The ambiance, location, and energy, I am sure everyone feels the same way.
Do you remember your first day or first impression of the space?
Yes, I do. I remember being really impressed. There were so many positive features about the space that it quickly became irresistible.
Are there certain areas of the space you gravitate toward most? Why?
My own office and the photo studio!
What does a “good workday” at Ampersand look like for you?
A good workday at Ampersand is when I’m able to fully concentrate and get things done. The environment at Ampersand really provides the kind of ambience that helps me stay focused and productive.
How would you describe the Ampersand community?
The Ampersand community is made up of very cool people: focused, driven, and friendly.
Have you made any meaningful connections or collaborations here?
Yes, I have. In fact, we collaborated on a photoshoot! One of my neighbors here helped support my brand by posing for my camera.
Is there a moment at Ampersand that stands out as especially memorable or impactful?
What stands out to me is that Ampersand truly offers a complete workspace. From A to Z, it has everything you need.
