Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Madelynne Moulton and I am a corporate interior designer and project
manager at Inventure. I joined Inventure because I saw an opportunity to help a
small, talented design firm increase their presence and reach in Nashville.
What’s something we don’t know about you?
I have eighteen tattoos. I got my first tattoo when I was 19, but a majority of my
tattoos I have gotten in the last couple of years, in my mid 30s. I especially love to
get tattoos to commemorate travel.
What inspires or motivates you to get out of bed?
Working for a company that invests in my success and aligns with the values I
hold. And for sure creating a wonderful life for my two children.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
My husband. We’ve been married for 13 years and together for 18. Cheesy, but
he’s my best friend.
Where do your brightest ideas come from?
Having conversations. Especially with someone I can bounce ideas off of.
How do you spark your creativity when you’re feeling in a rut?
I love to travel to new places. I recently took a solo trip to NYC and that was so
inspiring. The fashion exhibit at the MET was a dream. Not having to answer to
anyone and choose my own agenda was really special.
Where is your favorite place to decompress & unwind?
I absolutely love to go to the mall to see a movie, shop, and eat lunch solo.
When do you feel your best, and what do you do to stay in good vibrations?
I feel my best when I am sitting on the beach, under an umbrella, reading a novel
and wearing my favorite red lipstick and bikini. Also, good vibrations come from what you put out in the world.
Why did you choose Ampersand Studios as your workspace?
The entrepreneurial energy here is tangible. I love the multi-generational, multifaceted,
widely assorted professional energy of this place. You never know who
you will run into and that makes it so much fun. Also, the ampersand team is so
hospitable and such a joy to be around.
