Last month, Ampersand Studios partnered with Creative Currents founder, Jessica Campbell, to activate a member and community programming event, Creative Currents: AI for Innovation.
Creative Currents is an event series that offers an alternative to typical tech talks. Whether you’re a designer or real estate agent, “Creativity is a fundamental aspect of being human, it’s our birthright,” and Creative Current’s goal is to empower you to unlock your creativity. During this month’s workshop, Jessica spoke about how AI is transforming how we innovate, and AI for Innovation at Ampersand Studios was the first of an exciting new series from Creative Currents focused on rapidly innovating solutions powered by AI to quickly ideate meaningful change. This first event tackled pressing Miami issues like voter engagement, the opioid epidemic, and sustainability, while reinforcing that AI can be a catalyst for social change.
The event kicked off with a panel presentation with subject matter experts, climate strategist, Dr. Galen Treuer, political scientist, Krystina François, and founder of Partnr305, Amanda Nicol.
We tapped into the Ampersand Studios Member’s Lounge to create an interactive breakout session that allowed attendees to group together after the panel and workshop how innovate around their assigned topic, powered by a breakthrough AI tool that launched at the event – Sinego.
Jessica Campbell is a Miami-based creative strategist passionate about blending technology and design.
