This month’s Member Spotlight features Miami-based co-founders, Alexandrea Echeverri and Jocelyn Gamez, the creators of HIVE The Agency.
HIVE was born out of a desire for the intersection between business strategy and creative solutions. Here, we take a buzz and turn it into a roar; we’ll take a spark and turn it into a wildfire. At HIVE, we take brand visions and make them into concrete realities through creative direction, strategic branding, account management, and brand development.
We sat down with the HIVE ladies to learn more about them, what they do, and how they stayed inspired to create. Check out the Q&A below:
We’d love to hear more about what you do at HIVE?
“At HIVE, we provide three major services: strategy, creative, and management, all interwoven and interdependent on one another in order to create and curate efficiently, effectively, and in a manner of high caliber. These are the umbrella, overarching services which trickle into our products, ranging from social media management to content creation, influencer placements, experiential marketing and brand development. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; each client, each vision, each need is different. And as people that value originality, that’s part of the fun. That’s also why each strategy is strategically tailored to the unique needs of our clients.”
Being Ampersand Studios Members, we’ve been lucky enough to see you both and the HIVE team throughout the years, but what inspires you to keep going?
“Our team, our clients and our mission to continue growing HIVE. Our brightest ideas come when we are out and about – exploring Miami or new cities and we surround ourselves with other like-minded creatives who support, uplift and grow from each other.”

• What’s something we don’t know about you? We are both dog moms to Kiwi and Winston.
• What’s one thing you can’t live without? Jocelyn: Matcha, Alex: Coffee, just black coffee.
• Where is your favorite place to decompress and unwind? Jocelyn: The pool or the beach, Alex: Anywhere with a lot of greenery.
